· Qualifications:

Assiut University Hospital is the biggest hospital in Upper Egypt and the

third biggest one in the whole country. It is 1750 bedded hospital.

Plastic surgery & burns dept. consists of

· Plastic & reconstructive surgery dept. 44 beds

· Burns unit consists of 25 beds & 4 I.C.U. beds

· Insurance & private beds at the specialized hospital 22 beds

During my work in this department as a House-officer ,

resident and Specialist, I got my experience in the following activities:

· Management of nearly all types of burn injuries include 1^st aid measures then resuscitation follow up till healing or grafting for non healed areas.

· Management of all types of post. Burn deformities include contractures, alopecia ,ugly scars, ulcers,……..etc

· All types of skin, muscle, musculocutaneous. flaps & their application.

· Soft tissue reconstruction after trauma or surgery.

· Management & reconstructive surgeries for skin malignancies.

· Management of congenital anomalies as cleft lip , cleft palate ,hypospadias ,syndactylies ……… etc

· Aesthetic surgery including Mammoplasty , Rhinoplasty , Abdominoplasty ,liposuction…etc
